Filmmaking for Teens
08/04/2025 - 08/15/2025

From the concept of an idea to premiering your finished product in front of an audience. This two-week intensive camp goes through all aspects of filmmaking. Students will learn the basics of screenwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, sound design, casting (from DelArt’s Theatre Camp) and everything else that goes into making a film. Each student will write, shoot, and edit their own short. Then, they will screen it for their friends/family/other campers in DelArt’s auditorium at the end of the summer.

The Delaware Art Museum’s summer program provides a creative experience with professional instruction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Young artists explore drawing, painting, ceramics, and more in the Bank of America Education Wing Studio as well as throughout the Museum’s galleries and Copeland Sculpture Garden. Camp is from 9 am – 4 pm. Each session ends with a camper art show for family and friends.

Before care is from 8:00am-9:00am. Aftercare is from 4:00-5:30pm. Please be prompt when dropping off or picking up your child.
